As you know that all our programmes are accredited by MQA and the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) and our faculty academics and visiting experts are from a wide mix of research interests whereby 30% of them are professional architects / interior designers with strong links with the industry.
We are thrilled to be announced as the leading University that has been given full empowerment & recognition by MAPS. Council of Architectural Accreditation and Education which is also known as (MAPS - Majlis Akreditasi dan Pendidikan Senibina Malaysia) is responsible to oversee the implementation and conducting accreditation of architectural programmes in Malaysia.
Adding to that, what makes us stand-out is that we provide input from industry professionals and also academicians from other educational institutions to maintain the standard of design works and to be at par with national as well as international standards.
Our students are exposed to strong peer learning and tutoring as part of the collaborative studio concept across the programmes. In City University students are also equipped with specialised international modules for a global career in architecture, design, planning, building management and much more.
Officially, our graduates who have obtained Bachelor of Science (Hons) (Architectural Design) are certainly eligible to register as Graduate Architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia.
