Terms & Conditions

• This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for the above scholarship programme.
• By submitting an application for our scholarship, the applicant is agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
• The applicant shall read these Terms and Conditions in their entirety before applying for the scholarship. When the applicant accepts the scholarship, he/she as the Recipient also agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions and further agrees to the requirements and conditions of the scholarship being awarded.
• Scholarships are awarded based on an established eligibility requirements as listed below. Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant being awarded the scholarship.
• The Scholarship Application Form must be completed and submitted together with all the required supporting documents before the closing date - 4 weeks after SPM/STPM result announcement. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered and disqualified.
• The scholarship recipients will be required to sign an individual Scholarship Agreement. Recipients must meet all conditions as outlined in the said individual Scholarship Agreement.
• The scholarship covers only Tuition Fees and the recipients need to pay for all other miscellaneous fees for the chosen programme. Scholarships are awarded in the form of a tuition fee waiver only and cannot be transferred to another individual, exchanged for cash or any other financial benefit or otherwise modified.
• Applicants may be awarded a sum that may be lesser than what is stipulated in the scholarship advertisement, depending on the availability of the scholarship fund. The scholarship may be terminated at any time in the event of gross misconduct in any form during the course of studies or failure to meet the required academic grades. In the event of termination or even voluntary withdrawal, the scholarship recipient shall be required to refund to City University the amount of scholarship received by the applicant up to the termination date.
• All successful applicants will receive an official email offering relevant scholarship offer and must respond to the offer within 7 days of receipt of the scholarship offer. Failure to do so may result in the scholarship offer being withdrawn.
• Providing false or misleading information is an offence. If City University gets to know or has reason to believe that the applicant has provided false or misleading information, the scholarship offered will be withdrawn and the applicant will be liable to refund City University the total sum or waiver expanded on the scholarship holder.
• A total of 69 scholarship placements are being offered. All decisions on the level of studies and scholarship awards are at the sole discretion of City University and shall not be subject to external challenge.
• City University reserves the right to cancel the programme as it deems fit or revise the scholarship criteria from time to time at its sole discretion without prior notice
