Energizing City University: Recap of the ‘City University Zumba Attack’

In a landmark achievement, City University Malaysia is proud to announce that two of our gifted students have won the Consolation Prize in the esteemed competition organised by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM). Hosted as part of LAM’s 50th anniversary celebration, the competition sought to elevate designs that encapsulate the rich cultural heritage of Malaysia while also being forward-looking.

Our winners, Zachary Ding Tok and Mohamad Hafizudin bin Abd Rahim, have showcased exceptional talent and ingenuity in their projects. Zachary’s project, ‘Kamek,’ is a Sarawak Cultural Center that delves into the essence of Sarawakian heritage. Mohamad Hafizudin’s ‘Padi’ serves as a Food Bank and Paddy Center, aiming to mitigate the rice shortage in Malaysia. Their achievements stand as a testament to the calibre of education we offer and the kind of talent we nurture.
