Completed his 2 internships at world’s prestigious hotel, Nicholas Mun set his foot in The Dusun, Seremban for his final VATEL internship.

Previously having undergone internship at few grand hotels namely Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur and DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Nicholas believes that his previous internship placement played a big role in securing his final placement considering that he started going for his internship during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Starting his internship in June, he will be completing his 6 months training in December doing all- round duties; and will be helping out the management with accounts, marketing and human resources.

What’s unique about VATEL internship is that students will undergo 2 internships during the 3 years of study, the first one being 4 months and the second one for 6 months. They will be trained in different areas and departments to equip them with the right skills and knowledge to prepare them for their career in the hotel and tourism industry. The internship venues ranges from hotels, resorts and state tourism offices.

I hope I will be able to work in an international hotel brand such as Hilton, Accor or Four Seasons and join their Management Trainees Programs. If things go as planned, I am looking at opportunities for a career in the cruise line.”
