Orientation for New Intake Students

STAD organized orientation for new intake students. Involving Student Representative Council, related departments ( Admission Unit, International Marketing Office, Visa Unit, Library, Exam Unit, etc ).

The orientation is to welcome the new students with university information, rule and regulation and also fun activities such as Treasure Hunt, Zumba, Fun Games, etc.

UTAR 7’s Football Open IPT 2023. City U won 2nd place in this tournament

Weekly Sports Activities

STAD organized weekly sports activities for City U students both local and international with a variety of sports.

This activity also involves hostel students from Damai and Mentari Court Hostels.

Cultural Experience Activities

  • Hi-Tea event organised by City U International Club on August 2024 at City U Club Lounge 
  • City U Talent Club make performance during Chancellor’s Medallion on June 2023
  • Leaders from each City U Club & Societies get their new experience during City U Leadership Camp at Raub Pahang.

  • City U participates in MASISWA Competition on November 2023 at UNITEN, Bangi.
  • City U Red Run Event in collaboration with MBPJ at Laman MBPJ, Petaling Jaya.

International Student Activities

This event was called City U Fun Trip: Exploring Pearl of Malaysia Perak (Collaboration with Tourism Malaysia). This event involved 40 international students from different countries in March at Lenggong Perak, Malaysia.

  • E-SPORTS ACTIVITIES

STAD organized a sports carnival in October 2023. One of the games is the E-Sport Tournament.

E-Sport games are trending among students or youngsters and one sports contested organized by Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia (KPT)
