We are thrilled to announce that Iman Sofea, one of our talented Bachelor Fashion Design student, had been named a finalist for the prestigious 2024 “RUNHUA Award” Fashion Design and Skills Competition.
The competition took place at the Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology in Nanchang, China from October 29 to November 3, 2024.
Iman Sofea presented 4 of her original designs on the runway, competing with the most creative and skilled young designers from around the world. We were incredibly proud of her achievement!
Elegant, bold and intricately crafted. This stunning collection designed by Iman Sofea blends avant-garde silhouettes with traditional motifs. Each dress tells a story of cultural heritage meeting modern artistry, showcasing Sofea’s talent and creativity that earned her the Design Star Award at the RUNHUA Fashion Design and Skills Competition in China.
Iman Sofea’s innovative and stunning design captivated the judges and audience, standing out among a diverse group of emerging designers. Her work reflects both cultural depth adn contemporary aesthetics, embodying the spirit of modern fashion while honoring traditional elements. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our students and faculty.
